Product Design is establishing itself as an in-demand profession these days. Students are increasingly taking to it and the industry’s demand for such professionals is increasing. There is a demand for product designers to work on lifestyle products for the home and office. The luxury brands are also increasingly using designers to differentiate their products.
The Lifestyle product Design course prepares the student to address this market. Students are introduced to basic design process courses. They are exposed to materials and processes, form colour and aesthetics and handicrafts of India. They are taken through working on products of increasing complexities and end this with a training in a professional design set-up.
